The making of a life-size doll
Ring in the new year. The January doll has taken many hours to complete to this point: wiring, wrapping, stuffing, patchwork (hand stitching), knotting to attach bells and beads, and painting (including acrylic glazing of dreadlocks). Can sit on its own without support. Hands can bend to grasp. There will be an array of masks of sculpy clay, fabric, and more to customize the look for all twelve dollz in the series. February’s doll is under way.
